I’m Evgeniya, a Russian language teacher dedicated to helping you master Russian in a fun and effective way. Whether you want to speak fluently, travel to Russia, work, or dive into Russian culture, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I’ve been teaching Russian since 2018, blending engaging lessons with proven methods to help you speak with confidence.
I hold a diploma from Lomonosov Moscow State University as a certified Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language. My experience working with adult learners allows me to tailor lessons to your unique goals and interests. As a language learner myself, having studied French at school and now speaking English fluently, I understand the challenges you might face and know how to make learning easier and more enjoyable.
Having lived in different countries, including the USA (through the Work & Travel program in 2010) and Switzerland (as an exchange student in 2013), I bring a global perspective to my teaching. Now based in Moscow, I’m excited to share insights into modern Russian culture, traditions, or even help you prepare for a trip to Russia.

- How long will it take to become fluent in Russian?The time to fluency depends on your goals, study intensity, and prior language-learning experience. For basic conversational skills, expect about 4-6 months of regular study (A1 level).
- Do I need to learn all 6 cases to speak Russian?At the beginner level, you don't need to master all 6 cases right away. You can get by with phrases like greetings, introductions, or basic requests without diving into all cases. As you progress to higher levels, we'll gradually introduce the other cases with practical examples.
