Russian lessons
Courses: I offer individual General Russian, Business Russian and Conversation lessons for adults. You can also participate in the Russian speaking club.
General lessons are based on 4 skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. I usually choose a course book as a basis for the lessons. I work with the modern books with an emphasis on conversational practice. In the class, I use the intermediary language as little as possible, only if I understand that it is really necessary. Please be ready for homework assignments.
During conversational lessons we’ll be practicing listening and speaking skills. You should have at least a basic conversational level, because we will only speak Russian! Conversations may be free-flowing or focus on a specific topic. Along the way, I will give you corrections and suggest new vocabulary and expressions to help you better express yourself.
My lessons: I believe that every student learns differently, and has different goals. Lesson structure, length, and frequency all vary depending on your individual needs and desires. My lessons are friendly and always tailored to what you need. I support individual learning needs and use relevant teaching methods and materials. My lessons are fun and engaging!

About me
Привет! :) My name is Evgeniya, I am a Russian language teacher with funny and, at the same time, effective teaching style. I used to work in hospitality industry, and now I have been teaching Russian since 2018, because it’s my passion. I have an official Lomonosov Moscow State University diploma, and I have obtained the title «Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language». I'm specialized on working with adult students.
I've lived in several countries and I’m passionate about different cultures and languages. Among the other travels I participated in Work&Travel USA program in 2010 while living in California. As a student, I studied abroad in Switzerland in 2013. Currently I’m living in Moscow, Russia. I've been a language learner just like you! I learned French at school, now I speak English fluently.
My interests include music, linguistics, dancing, fashion, photography, arts, travelling and learning anything new. I love animals too! I would enjoy talking about subjects that interest you. I can't wait to meet you in our class!

No grammar, no structure, just enjoy the conversation!
Before each session, I assign a topic for the conversation club. A few days before the session, I send a file with questions for discussion and additional information.
Group: mini group up to 3 students
Duration: 60 minutes on Zoom
For whom: This club is ideal for those students who want to improve their speaking skills and expand their vocabulary.
You should have at least a basic conversational level, because we will only speak Russian!

- 3What are language learning materials?On General Russian course, we will follow a modern course book. I also use different materials during my lessons, such as text documents, articles and news, quizzes, video files, presentation slides and audio files.
- 4How long does it take to learn Russian?Learning a language is a complex process that is different for each individual based on several different factors. It depends on your current level of Russian and how good you are at learning languages.
- 5May I take only speaking course?
Yes, you can, if you have passed the beginner level. We can focus on improving your speaking skills, and I will help you with vocabulary and grammar corrections along the way. You can also participate in our conversation club.
